Belmond Public Library Foundation

The Board of Trustees of the library formed the Belmond Public Library Foundation in 1983 to receive and administer gifts of money and property for the benefit of the library. There is a strong precedent of private giving to the library, and the present building is a tribute to those who care about the quality of learning in our community. How you can help?

There are many ways contributors may choose to give. The manner in which you choose to give is a matter of personal preference. These tax deductible contributions may take the form of:

  • Gifts of cash
  • Gifts of property
  • Gifts of stock or securities
  • Memorial gifts honoring a relative or friend
  • Bequests in wills

With the Friends of the Belmond Public Library, the Foundation is very beneficial to the library. Their support has helped to fund technology improvements, additions to the library collection, and enhancing services provided to our library patrons.
