Meeting Spaces

Belmond Public Library has two meeting spaces available for public use when not in use by the library. 

Meeting Room:

The large meeting room is available to use outside of library operating hours when not in library use. There is a cost associated with using this space. The room can comfortably seat 20 to 25 people. It's the perfect space for bridal showers, small events, and meeting. The room has a dry erase board and a large screen television with DVD player and an HDMI cord for easy computer connection.

Please note that the space is unavailable for use for children's birthday parties. For information on room use limitations and requirements see the meeting room policy.

Meeting Room Policy

Reservations to use the space must be made in advance. Payment and a signed agreement form must be remitted before use.

Fees:

$30.00 per day

Exceptions:
Non-profit organizations and government agencies: $10.00 per day
Belmond Klemme Schools, City of Belmond, NIACC: no charge
Children's groups (4H, Scouts): no charge

Conference Room:

The conference room comfortably seats up to 8 people and is perfect for small meetings, a private studying place, or online video calls. The room has a large screen television with HDMI and wireless connection for ease of use. There is no fee charged to use this space. Reservations are not required but are appreciated. Unlike the large meeting room, this space is only available to use during library operating hours.
